I'm Ryan Berkley, and I'm running for the Johnson City Board of Education.
I'm a dad, a small business owner, and a neighbor who never left. Our schools are in good shape, and I want to help keep them that way. Good schools don't stay good by accident. They stay good because people pay attention.

Grew up in Dayton Tennessee
I grew up in Dayton, Tennessee, went to ETSU, and chose to stay in Johnson City. This isn't a stop for me. It's home.
There are five people on the ballot for this board. I'm the only one with a child in a Johnson City classroom right now. One member currently serving has a child in our high school. If you elect me, that's two of us at the table who get the same emails you do and see the same homework you do.

One in four of our students is economically disadvantaged. A hungry kid can't learn, and in this community, we feed kids.
